The IR-T1 is the first of its kind and the only tile roof hook that requires no removal of tiles and no roof penetration at all. The IR-T1 TileBallast™ System is 4x faster to install than traditional tile roof hooks and much stronger, since our proprietary installation system actually increases the overall strength of the entire roof structure. When installed using our test proven IntegraGel Epoxy, each bracket uses the weight of the heavy concrete tiles which are nested and overlapping each other. With this system, each bracket is capable of withstanding over 175lbs of uplift and transforms standard roof tiles into a larger foot ballast system for the solar module rails to attach directly to. One tube of IntegraGel Epoxy is good for up to ten mounts, and comes FREE with every IR-T1 Ten Pack.

Each IR-T1 comes with a strong, integrated upright mount that can be attached to any rail system. The simplicity of this system allows for extremely fast and easy installations. With no need to remove and replace tiles on the roof, installers are much less fatigued on large jobs. Many installers see increased sales with home-owners that are worried about potential leaks and love the benefits of a non-invasive system.
Works with most all styles of concrete roof tiles with at least 1.25 inch thickness and 11.75-15.5 inch spacing. Only recommended for use with concrete roof tiles.

This product conforms to UL 2703 Mechanical and Bonding requirements.

For Use With All Rail Systems

The integrated upright allows for the mounting of any rail system like any standard tile hook. The two piece design of this upright creates a very solid support for any solar system, but offers just enough flexibility to withstand up to 150 mph wind speeds.

High-Strength Tested

The IR-T1 utilizes a super high-strength tested concrete adhesive system to bond three roof tiles together along with the IR-T1’s two integrated mounting hooks bonded as one piece. This unique system creates a large heavy ballasted foot out of the three concrete roof tiles, and these bonded roof tiles are also held down and nested in place by five additional overlapping tiles.

Does this bracket work with rail systems?

Yes, the integrated upright has an open slot similar to most standard tile roof hooks and can be used with any standard rail system.

How strong is this bracket?

The IR-T1 is stronger and more stable than most traditional tile roof hooks and is capable of withstanding up to 150 mph winds and 175 lbs of uplift per mount.

Will this system weaken the roof structure?

With no need to remove the existing roof tiles or penetrate the roof in any way, there is no risk of leaks, broken roof tiles, or damaged trusses. Using our patent pending bonding method with the IntegraGel Epoxy, each IR-T1 actually bonds multiple tiles together, making the roof stronger and more secure than before.

What types of roof tiles is the IR-T1 compatible with?

The IR-T1 is compatible with Flat, S and W style concrete roof tiles with 11.75" - 15.5" row spacing.
